FAQ

Is the Tactical Link swivel connector compatible with sling mounts from other manufacturers?
Yes, our swivel connector fits all known QD-style sling mounts, even those of other manufacturers. Of course, before use, ensure the swivel connector is securely seated by pulling on it firmly.

Can I use a swivel connector from another manufacturer with a Tactical Link sling mount?
Probably. Most manufacturers use industry-compatible dimensions, but of course the tolerance and dimensions used by other manufacturers is not within our control. For this reason, we recommend that you ensure the swivel connector is properly seated (by pulling on it firmly) into all sling mounts before use.

Does Tactical Link have a Testing and Evaluation Program?
Yes, Tactical Link has a T&E Program for law enforcement and military personnel. Please contact us for details.

How do I install the Z-360 Sling Mount?
Remove the collapsible buttstock from the buffer tube. Fit the upper clamp onto the end of the buffer tube. Note: due to manufacturing differences between various rifle makers, not all buffer tubes are the same diameter. Therefore, depending on the make of the weapon it may be necessary to slightly widen the upper clamp when fitting it onto the end of the buffer tube. Slide the upper clamp into position against the receiver extension nut. Place the lower clamp underneath the upper clamp. Ensure that the detent of the lower clamp interfaces with the recess in the rear of the receiver end plate and that both clamps are positioned tightly behind the receiver extension nut and the receiver end plate. Using the appropriate tooling and thread-locking compound on the provided screws, fasten the two clamps together in an alternating pattern to ensure even pressure. Once installed, a gap (if any) between the upper and lower clamp is not uncommon and should be equal on both sides of the mount. Care must be taken to avoid stripping the threads during assembly. Do not over tighten. 20 to 25 IN LB is ideal torque. The screws need only to be snug. Reinstall the buttstock onto the buffer tube. Patent(s) Pending.
