The Shot-Mod® Mount is an ambidextrous sling mount exclusively designed for use with Remington 870 shotguns. The Shot-Mod Mount is CNC machined out of a solid brick of stainless steel and sits between the receiver and stock (adds 1/2" length of pull). Includes a longer threaded extension (so you don't need a longer screw) also made from stainless steel. Not compatible with Knoxx Stocks. Patent pending. Made in Maple Valley, USA.

	-Shot- Mod is a Winner!
	I ordered my Shot-Mod during business hours and Tactical Link shipped the order via USPS the same day. A few days later I received my Shot-Mod. The Shot-Mod did not fit my Remington 870 perfectly but it was very close. I replaced my factory Remington butt stock with a Hogue 12" length of pull butt stock. The Shot-Mod fit the Hogue stock perfectly the Shot-Mod gave me the extra 1/2 length of pull I needed. The Shot-Mod will come with an extension nut so that the butt stock bolt will reach the back of the receiver. In my case it was impossible to remove the factory bolt with common hand tools to install the new longer nut. An air impact running on low air pressure will easily remove the factory nut. You'll need a 1/2 impact socket for the job. I wrapped the receiver with a towel and clamped it my bench vise with a thin piece of wood on each side of the receiver so that the jaws on the vise would not mar the finish on the gun. In two seconds the factory nut was removed.
