Rock solid fit

The Gen2 was redesigned with interlocking clamps for an extremely secure fit on mil-spec and commercial buffer tubes. Installs in seconds with no weapon disassembly or modification. Fits all known standard AR15 / M4 mil-spec (1.14" dia) and commercial (1.17" dia) collapsible stock models and is known to be compatible with the following weapons: HK 416, Sig Sauer 716, Smith & Wesson M&P15 (AR15/5.56) models, the Law Tactical Folding Stock Adapter, and weapons equipped with a Vltor A5 buffer tube (with minor modification). The Gen2 Z360 is not compatible with non mil-standard or QD receiver end plates, the Smith & Wesson M&P15-22, the HK MR762, any known pistol buffer tube, or Colt Canada Buffer Tubes.

Product Review from AR15News.com
Review from AR15News.comA while back my friend Brian over at Tactical Link asked if I would help introduce their new Gen2 Z-360 Sling Mount once they were done with their fields test to which I very happily said “Of Course”!  I had not used the previous version of the Z-360 but had heard good things about it and was excited to get my hands on the Gen2 Z-360.  Now I can say “I’m sold!”.  Check out the... read more

Product Reviews from LooseRounds.com
Part 1: I have been running different two (2) point slings for a few years now, and I wanted to compare the Tactical Link line. Since 2005, I have maintained a great relationship with Tactical Link. This relationship started when members of my department’s firearms instructor unit and SWAT team started to T&E some Tactical Link slings and mounts, some of which are still in active use today. As a result, I have been lucky enough to own some very exclusive Tactical Link slings that have been produced for specific military and law enforcement units... read more

Part 2
: Here in Part 2, we will review sling performance during transitions and movements with and without load bearing gear. For this part of the review, I used the slings in different shooting sessions with and without gear to cover different shooter needs. My first session involved using the Convertible Slings without wearing load bearing gear. I only wore equipment typically used at a patrol officer/instructor range day... read more

Part 3
: I made a few changes to my work horse carbine lately and I am pleased with the results. I do not add new gimmicks to my guns very often. It has to be something pretty special for me to take it serious. Because of this attitude I am not big on a lot of Magpul products and that is why you very rarely see me review or buy anything from them that is not a mag or rear stock that does more then offer up a different look. Two things I bought recently are products I feel truly upgraded the performance of my carbine and myself or gave me more flexibility... read more

Perfect fit for those of you that don't want to take the castle nut off and re-stake it, my dad wanted to try it and he loves it while still being able to put his nose on the charging handle. You lose about 1/2" with this mount because it's not behind the castle nut but mounted to the buffer tube but his CTR stock locks right against the Z-360 sling mount which is perfect. The 360 degree allows you to mount for left or right handers and keeps the sling from twisting up and is easy to reach if you need to drop the sling fast unlike the types mounted under the castle nut so a well thought out mount, well built too.

Well Designed

To be honest, I prefer an end plate with a QD swivel installed. That being said, this is a great product if you don't want to remove a properly staked castle nut removed (or pay a gunsmith to do it). Installs easily and is very secure whether used single-point or the rear of a two-point mount. Works exactly as expected. Two drawbacks. It is a bit pricey, even though the parts are high quality. Second (minor) drawback is that the stock will no longer collapse to the first position.

I have continued to purchase these items as they are a real convenient component to attach your weapon sling to . Simple to install and some modification on some other brands of stock assy. A little filling and pre fitting no problem.

Z-360 Sling Mount, Gen 2/ STLTHBUNG-1PS-BL,

This product along with the Stealth Bungee Single was recommended by my son whose is a serving officer in the US Army. He recommended both for my LMT-2000 Defender, AR 15. Easy to install and I love both products.

Well designed!

This mount installed easily on my Colt M4. No sharp corners, no hangups, and it stays snug. The swivel is in the right place at all times. This product is a very good choice!

My Mistake!

Ooops!!! I did exactly what it says clearly states on the package not to do! "...and attempting to push the upper clamp over the outer diameter of the buffer tube without first removing the collapsible stock - both easily avoided by reading and complying with the recommended installation instructions. Failure to follow the provided installation instructions may weaken or damage the Z-360 Sling Mount ... My mistake! And yes, thankfully a replacement part is readily available. I and many of my friends have purchased many of your products and are completely satisfied! In fact everyone I know that have purchase your products are just as satisfied! Keep up the good work!

Great fit, i now wish i got the end plate cover with the same single point quick realease from tac link. With this item you cant close your adjustable stock all the way. You have to leave it one notch out really no biggie but I sugest go the extra mile and get the end piece with the single point sling just watch for those detents not to launch accross the room. Tac link has great products Im still very happy with my purchase
