American Defense Manufacturing UIC Billet Ambi AR15 Upper & Lower Receiver Matched Set

The American Defense Manufacturing UIC Billet AR15 Upper & Lower Receiver Matched Set features a type III teflon impregnated hardcoat anodized finish, is outfitted with their proprietary ambidextrous magazine catch/release, ambidextrous bolt catch/release, and their dimpled take down and pivot pins.

The magazine well features reinforcing ribs that make the magazine well 40% stronger than mil-spec forged at only half ounce of weight change. The trigger guard is ready for winter gloves without manipulation. Radii and chamfers throughout make this billet lower a marvel that stretches the capabilities of modern production CNC manufacturing. A 20 degree competition style mag well is concealed in the design, allowing lightning fast magazine changes. An integral upper / lower tension adjustment screw allows the end user to compensate for tolerance between your upper receivers and your favorite lower.

The UIC upper and lower receivers ship with all their respective parts already installed. Due to the design of the ambi bolt catch/release, the UIC lower is not compatible with certain triggers that utilize anti rotation pins that use external screws or plates (such as CMC Triggers or KNS anti rotation pins). Standard GI type triggers and Geissele triggers are compatible with with this lower. Before purchasing this item please review the FFL Transfer(s) Policy.

Q: What gen lower does this come with? You have pictures of both gen 1 & gen 2

A: Despite the fact that we have pictures of both gen 1 and gen 2 lowers (we never knew they changed) we just received confirmation from ADM that all the lowers we have are indeed Gen 2 lowers. Thanks for the inquiry.

A: This response is directly from American Defense Manufacturing:
The UIC Receiver sets are just that, a stripped receiver set. The Mod 1/2/3 varies on how the complete *rifles* are built out. Each mod features different components.

Q: Is it possible to cerakote or hydro-dip with the type III teflon-impregnated hardcoat anodized finish? I would think not because of how slick teflon is but I have to ask since I am very interested in buying this product in the future, and unfortunately if I do not have to the option to change the finish its kind of a deal breaker for me. I look forward to your response. Thank you.

A: Response directly from ADM:
In response to your question on the ADM type III hard coat and use of Cerakote and hydro dipping. Cerakote is a standard option on our rifle and receives, we also send sets out for special hydro-dip coating. All the parts get the standard type III hard coat so they still have the surface hardening advantage. In preparation for coating they are given a light bead blasting and chemical cleaning to prep the surface for coating while retaining the surface hard coat.

A: In short - all of them. There are a lot of parts needed to progress stripped receivers into functioning rifles. The good news is that we have all the parts you would need to turn a receiver set into a functioning rifle. Thanks for the inquiry.
