The Original Umbrella Corp Grip 23 For AR Style Rifles

The Umbrella Corporation Weapons Research Group began development on the Grip 23 in 2007, with the idea of creating a more vertical grip for AR15 based weapon systems. After consulting with Magpul, several prototypes were fielded and tested, with the best design being chosen for production. This is the original Grip 23 with very mild texturing and is the combination of extensive professional shooter feedback and engineering excellence.

The more vertical angle encourages a more natural elbows down shooting posture, more in line with modern shooting doctrine, and reduces wrist fatigue. The mild surface texture provides excellent grip characteristics, while also being a perfect platform for operator customization, stippling, or grip sleeves.

Umbrella Corp grips are made to the finest standards and carry an unconditional guarantee against material defect and manufacturing failure. The Umbrella Corp grip weighs approximately 2.8 ounces and is available in a variety of colors.

Love it!

My favorite grip. Love the angle. With the smooth finish, it give my builds a clean look. Also easy to work with when stippling. Minimalistic grip with durability.

Finally found one

I wanted this particular model without the newer texture. Tactical Link came through. I needed it to be back so I decided to give it the rit dye treatment and it came out perfectly. Great grip

Works great

My only complaint with the grip is that it needed some flash trimmed off the back. That only took 15 seconds to do and not its perfect. Its a very comfortable grip.

Great

Great grip. Although it is not texture is still very easy to hold onto the bottom as well wear out to keep your hand on. Will be buying it again

Great grips

This will make the 4th Umbrella Corp. grip I have used on an AR build. The current build is going to be an Black Rain Ordnance lower chambered in 5.56 with a matched upper in FDE cerakote barrel assembly will be a Rainier Arms 16 inch CHF mountain series barrel double chrome lined with a 13in BCM MLOK rail. Timney FCG and a gold TiN BCG. I love the grip angle which is more like an actual pistol grip than any other grip on the market. If you prefer a steeper angle for your pistol grip, then I would highly recommend these grips.

Get a grip (23) on it

I put one of these grips on my SOLGW Soul Snatcher Edition Rifle and was so impressed I’m gonna put one on my SOLGW Angry Patriot 300 Blackout pistol build. Didn’t have to wait long for it either (got to me within a week)

Best AR Grip Available

I put these on all my builds, the grip angle on these is extremely vertical compared to others and allows for great trigger control and a strong grip while remaining extremely comfortable. Great for competition and precision... with out a doubt the best grip you can put on your AR.

Great grip

If you were thinking about getting this grip for your next AR build, get it. As soon as I put this on my "jack" lower from Spikes Tactical it didn't just change the look of the rifle but it changed how the rifle felt, it gives you more of a straight grip angle helping to eliminate the "tactical chicken wing" and helps keep your elbow tucked into your body for more control of the weapon. Not that it's a con for me but may be for others is that there is no texture on the grip but that also means it's a blank canvase for stipple work.
