Battle Arms Development Enhanced Takedown & Pivot Pin Set For AR15 Style 5.56/.223 Rifles

Battle Arms Development Enhanced Pins are precision CNC machined from bar stock, the EPS are made from hardened 12L14 steel and finished in milspec maganese phosphate.

Included items
- 2 pin springs
- 2 KNS detents
- A magnet for easy installation
- Enhanced Takedown Pin (ETP) and Enhanced Pivot Pin (EPP)

The EPS features the following improvements
- Keystone shaped and dimpled pivot pin head
- Easy, hassle free magnet-assisted installation of the pivot pin
- Knurled circumference and a reverse angled flat on the head of the takedown pin head for improved gripping surface
- 0.030" longer length aids in pushing the pins out, without being obtrusive
- Low profiled pin heads, the ETP is compatible with ambidextrous selector's right lever
- Bullet tip guide at the tip of the pins to prevent the bullet or tool from slipping off and scratching the receiver
- Secondary detent hole and groove milled past the milspec detent hole and groove on the pivot pin, with the help of a small magnet (included), making the installation of the pivot pin effortless

Good product

Parts were exactly as shown. Instructions were ok. I did go to You tube to get a little better set of instructions. They do make it easier to dismantle the weapon. Thank you.

Making life easier

2 little pins? Yes, you might hesitate to upgrade to this, but once you install the pins. Take down just got a lot simpler, easier , and faster. That magnet is a total keeper. I would recommend this for any AR build.

They are that good.

I just completed my 4th build with these pins. You might think that takedown and pivot pins aren't that big a deal. They are. The little extra length these pins have makes it much easier to break open a tight gun. I'd choose AXTS safety over BAD's. But I'd choose no other pins. Buy them! Worth every cent.

Great products

These are great takedown pin sets. I find that if you are running an ambi safety these pins do not get in the way of the left side.The magnet that comes with them make it easier to install the pivot pin. Watch the video on YouTube the get better idea.

Great Part, but even GREATER Customer Service

Ordered this awhile back to upgrade my current rifle. Liked them so much I ordered two more over the holidays for future builds. Only problem was when I got my order there was a mix up and I got 2 sets of Battle Arms ambi safety selector. Emailed and called to make a follow up, and not gonna lie these guys are great and working to square away this misshipment in a timely manner. Enhanced Takedown & Pivot Pin Set for AR15 / 5.56 / .223

Had my Daniel Defense lower apart to upgrade trigger and stock. This was a nice upgrade. Installation easy.

Nice upgrade

Bought this for an omni poly lower that has thicker walls. The front pivot pin makes it much easier to take out since a stock one is recessed in the poly lower. The rear pin did not offer any improvement over stock on my lower, so I put it on a DPMS aluminum lower and like the center hole on the left end and the fingernail slot on the right side to be able to pull the pin out easier. I'm still looking for a longer rear pin for my poly lower
