Battle Arms Development Ion Bond Black Titanium Enhanced Takedown & Pivot Pin Set For AR15 Style 5.56/.223 Rifles

Precison CNC machined from grade 5 titanium bars, both pins are in their natural machined titanium finish and are 50% lighter than mil-spec pin set! the set consists of the Titanium Enhanced Takedown Pin, Titanium Enhanced Pivot Pin and two detents and two detent springs.

- AR15 / M16 / M4 Compatible - Fits all AR15/M16/M4 lower receivers with mil-spec .250" diameter front pivot and rear takedown pin holes.
- Patent Pending Pivot Pin & Takedown Pin Head Designs - Greatly improved gripping surface and pull strength without the use of oversize heads.
- Low Profile Pin Heads - Low drag and never in the way. Lower profile than mil-spec pin heads.
- Ambidextrous Safety Compatible - The Enhanced Takedown Pin - Titanium (BAD-ETP-Ti) head design does not obstruct the use of the right side ambi safety selector lever.
- Extended Pin Tips (+0.030" over milspec) - Added tip length noticeably aids in starting/pushing the pins out from the left side of the receiver, without undue protrusion.
- Bullet Tip Guide - Cone shaped recess at both pin tips prevent accidental bullet or tool slip and reduces the chance of scratching/damaging of the receiver.
- Patent Pending EZ Guide Channel - The additional EZ Guide Channel provides easy, assisted installation of the BAD-EPP-Ti (Enhanced Pivot Pin - Titanium). No more lost detents and springs.
- Black ion bond DLC (Diamond Like Coating) Finish
- Weight - 0.256 oz (0.128 oz for Takedown Pin and 0.160 oz for Pivot Pin)

Smooth as a hot knife thru room temp butter

Had stock Daniel Defense which were great but wantd titanium. 2a were terrible and difficult to extract even after forcing it 100 times. As soon as i installed these, loved them. Will never get any other takedown pins. Highly recommend.

best bang for the buck of any take down pin set

ive used these in my 300blk pistol and my 16".223wylde. Super easy to put in,no need to worry about losing the spring or detent. Every custom build from now on will be getting a set of these.

Great!

Shipped really fast, tho the USPS lost the package for three days, but that's not the vendors fault. Pins work great in my DDM4V11LW. Look nice too. Little harder to install than the stock ones because you can't use a magnet on the titanium. But I was still able to install both in about 20 mins.

BAD Black Titanium Takedown pins

Nice and Light !!!

I purchased this B.A.D ion bond black Titanium take down and pivot pin set for a new Mega Arms AR15 light weight build. The finish is great. Fit perfectly in my Mega Arms billet lower. Really nice that they come with the springs and pins. Thank you Tactical Link for the super fast shipping.

Improvement over OEM steel pivot/takedown pins

These titanium pins marry the upper & lower a little tighter, good thing. The left sides stick out a little bit and the right side easier to pull. This makes it easier to takedown with gloves on. Pulling was a little "sticky". Detents have burrs on the tips. Remediated this by polishing the end of the detent that touch's the pin and greased the pins. All good now.
