First off, Tactical Link's service was one of the fastest I have come across. My LGS received this lower literally a within the week of me placing the order. I am writing this review because I am opting to purchase some items here solely because of the quick actions. The lower is beautiful, very clean lines. The integrated ambi bolt catch and magazine release was well thought out. The bolt catch button on the right side works because of a proprietary bolt catch plunger. It is basically like how a magazine release works... The plunger is extended, and the extended part goes through the bolt catch spring to the other side, where the bolt catch button on the right pushes against when depressed. The ambi magazine release button on the left side simply goes behind the magazine catch and pivots to pull the catch. I did not have to even use the tensioning screw for the upper because it fit well. Magazine well held the magazine to the point where when it was shaken with a magazine, there was no chatter. Another thing to consider is that the built in ambi controls (left side magazine release, right side bolt catch release) can be removed via the same type of 1/16" hex set screws that replace standard roll pins for standard lowers. Considering the two built-in ambi buttons itself, this lower is cleaner and lighter and less expensive compared to purchasing a mil-spec lower, ambi bolt catch lever, and ambi magazine release. Very happy customer!
