Well, if it did come in Titanium I'd give it 6 stars and buy another one. What an opportunity to shave even more weight. Works great and seems to simplify the control on my ultralight AR. Great product.

Great safety!

Living in a restricted state, I have replaced my rear takedown pin with a quick release version to comply with our idiotic laws. The new pin has a large knob on the left side of the (Stag Arms) receiver , which gets in the way when swiping the safety to the fire position. This Speed Safety makes the operation much easier. The unit has a very positive click in both directions. Only complaint is the red o-ring seems just slightly little bigger than it should be. I actually sliced off a very small piece the first few times using the safety. But, overall very happy with the product.

Elfmann Speed Safety

Left-handed shooter. Ordered one to try. Really liked it so I ordered four more for handling uniformity across the platform. Five lowers in three brands and three calibers. No fit issues other than ensuring that the red rubber "O" ring that indicates off safe is tucked completely in its groove, else it will bind between the button and the lower.

Smooth

Liked the rounded detent, it alllowed for very smooth operation Pricey but after install it was worth the money Starting to like these people, good quality

Elftmann Tactical Ambidextrous Push Button Speed Safety GREAT NEW ITEM

Installs quickly and looks great. I have one on black and in stainless steel. Detention is positive and has a good snap to feel it. I would recommend to others. Like another reviewer I really want one in Titanium.

Great product

Why has it taken so long for a company to develop a safety like this for the AR platform? I love it. Much simpler to operate and a very clean design. Super easy to install. Detention is solid. I will be using more of these in the future.

ELF-ARSS-BLK

This push button speed safety works great. I had to get used to it because it's so different than the lever that I flipped with my thumb. Positive snap is nice too. It comes with a detent but not a new spring, so make sure you don't lose yours. I got the black one for my AR-15 build. I milled out a lower from 80% Arms and built my own weapon.
