Proving that every once in a while, the Government can do something right, the GUNNER's profile from the extension to the gas block mimics that delicious taper. From there, common sense takes over and the GUNNER moves to a .625 inch gas block journal and our famed pencil profile out front. Removing the weight from the front of the barrel ensures maximum versatility and keeps material to the rear to maximize heat resistance and mitigate whip. The GUNNER is for real gunners.

Barrel upgrade

Got my new Faxon barrel installed and it is perfect. Very prompt shipping and the customer service is unbeatable. Engineer

Was the only company that had this barrel in stock, tried to verify it was actually in stock and got a "read the FAQ's" response that normally would have resulted in me taking my business elsewhere if it weren't for parts being hard to find. Went ahead and ordered the barrel and it was delivered the next day. Awesome product, ok price, excellent shipping. Customer service left something to be desired though.

Barrel as Advertised

I did a lot of research on barrels and manufacturers and for my first build I chose the 16" Gunner barrel based on all the information I reviewed. I finished my build yesterday and can honestly say that the quality is as advertised! Beautiful finish and fit to my V7 upper. I also installed a Faxon low profile gas block and the fit was perfect. I will use another Faxon barrel on my next build! The real test will be at the range.......update to come later.

FIRST AR BUILD

Chose this barrel for its balanced characteristics for my first AR build. Decided against an entry, bargain level barrel. Incredible value for the quality you receive. Have since bought more items from Faxon Firearms and will continue to do so.

Nice barrel, good fit, proper gas port

So far the barrel looks good, a tiny but more stout than my buddy's pencil barrel. However it is still nice and light. Fit nice and tight into my 2A Balios-Lite upper. No obvious defects, threading at muzzle looks good. Will update when I finish the build with accuracy! 4 stars until I know accuracy.
