The Ferfrans CQB Modular Muzzle Brake System is a 2 part system consisting of the performance Muzzle Brake Mount and the CRD (Concussive Reduction Device), which features a built in quick attach / detach mechanism. Ferfrans CQB Modular Muzzle Brake System allows you to run your gun with all the benefits of an efficient Brake/Compensator reducing muzzle rise. When the need arises, simply attach the Concussive Reduction Device (CRD) via its quick detach mechanism and it redirects the percussion forward making it suitable for prone, CQB, out of vehicles or on a crowded range.

The CRD is easily installed and a simple twist with a tactile click and it is locked in place and ready for use. Total weight of the system combined is 10.4 ounces. This item is not a suppressor. It is a muzzle brake with a separate shroud (CRD). The purchase of this item does not require a tax stamp.

Note: the Ferfrans CQB Modular Muzzle Brake and Compensator For AR Style 7.62/.308 Rifles is compatible with 300 blackout and 6.5 grendel rifles as long as the barrel's muzzle threads are 5/8 x 24.

FerFrans brake and shroud

Had hatebrake, which was nice. Worked as stated. This setup is outstanding in comparison. Pistol feels like a .223 with a brake (almost nonexistent recoil). Sound at my end was remarkably quiet. Very very pleased.

I have not mounted the Muzzle Brake yet. I will put it onmy Ruger .300AAC Blackout, 10.5" and will post another review after I take it to the range. Everything I have seen about this MB/Comp has been positive, so my expectation is set. Again Tactical Link processed and delivered the order quickly.

it works just like the video

I took another makers muzzle device off my 300 blk. That device worked ok but rollover prone in the dirt was not so good. I was surprised that with the Ferfrans the rifle shot absolutely flat with the CRD off and with just a slight wiggle with it on. Prone in the sandy loose dirt was just like the video; dirt moving away and not up. I am contemplating another for a different rifle. It works.

I like it I like it a lot

My rifle is a Armorlite AR-10 ,The muzzle break and compensator or doing what they supposed to be doing I like it I like it a lot at the shooting range people are interested on what it is I'll let them know where I got it and what it is. Overall I'm happy with it it's a great product.
