Griffin Armament M4SD Flash Comp For AR15 Style 5.56/.223 Rifles

This is the new generation of FlashComp. Designed off of Griffin Armament's Hammer Comp, the new flash comp adds an additional sacrificial baffle, offers better flash signature, and is reduced in weight. The Griffin Armament M4SD muzzle devices interface with Griffin Armament's M4SD series of silencers.

The M4SD Flash Comp optimally combines the functions of three traditionally separate classes of devices - muzzle brakes, tactical compensators, and flash suppressors. The M4SD II Flash Comp achieved a perfect 5 out of 5 in National Tactical Officers Association testing to achieve the rare, coveted, NTOA Gold seal of approval granted to devices which achieve perfect evaluations.

Compatible with the M4SD series SD-QD suppressor interface the Flash Comp provides a sacrificial baffle to increase the service life of your silencer. It is also pre drilled and adds 2.25 inches of length for 14.5 to 16 inch permanently attached, non SBR, M4 carbine builds. For optimal flash reduction we recommend 14.5 inch or longer barreled host weapons. Extreme durability, low concussion flash and recoil reduction are the wave of the future - the Flash Comp provides an elegant solution to a complex problem. Includes shim set and over travel stop washer. Over travel stop tab should be positioned at the bottom of the muzzle device (6 oclock).

Flash comp

Griffin makes good brakes and comps, so they are sometimes hard to find in stock, tactical link had them in stock and shipped them out the same day I ordered it, the break threaded onto my ballistic advantage Hanson stainless steel barrel no problem. The flash comp does come with a shim package, so you do not need to order one.

Q: Will this fit on the stock Smith & Wesson MP15 A2 birdcage? I don’t know how to tell if it’s a USGI. I know they are the standard government A2 flash hiders smith puts on their guns.

A: No, the Flash Comp is not compatible with any A2 birdcage. The Flash Comp replaces the A2 birdcage. Thanks for the inquiry.

A: Chris, if Griffin Armament makes a muzzle device for an AK, then their blast shield would probably be compatible. We don't know if GA makes a muzzle device for an AK; we've never heard of them making one. Thanks for the inquiry.
