Griffin Armament Gen 2 Suppressor Normalized Ambidextrous Charging Handle (SNACH) For AR Style 7.62/.308 Rifles - Black

The Gen 2 SN-ACH (Suppressor Normalized Ambidextrous Charging Handle) is a patented, modernized, feature filled charging handle that will satisfy any AR user. The SNACH features an improved gas check groove and an improved, forward-facing 60 degree gas vent that reduces gas in the face of the shooter when using a suppressor by ejecting it forward and to the side of the firearm. The revised Gen 2 SNACH also receives a beveled rear shoulder to capture gases escaping from the rear of the receiver and redirect them forward and to the sides instead of into the shooters face. Improved fitment and machining of the Gen 2 SNACH creates a tighter seal between the handle and your upper receiver, resulting in decreased gas leakage at the rear of the receiver.

Configurable levers were also added so a user could choose to run the included large lever, which works with gloved hands, or purchase and modularly use the smaller levers (available separately) without having to buy an entirely new handle at an excessive cost. The bolt carrier engaging hook features durable reinforced geometry for 30% increase in strength over milspec handles and approximately 3 times as strong as inferior 6061 handles which routinely break under hard use. Fitment bearing surfaces on the handle mating ensures reduced wobble fitment with the upper receiver. The handle is made from 7075-T6 aluminum and hard coated for optimal wear resistance. The Griffin Armament Gen 2 SNACH is the finest charging handle available for the AR series family of firearms.

Frequently asked question: Will the Griffin Armament Suppressor Normalized Ambidextrous Charging Handle fit my AR patterned .308 (aka "AR-10")?
A: We are asked this question often, and unfortunately, the answer is maybe. Unlike its smaller counterpart (the AR15 / M16 / M4), the AR-10 was never fully adopted by the U.S. Armed Forces, and therefore, did not benefit from the standardization of parts that the AR15 / M16 / M4 has received. As a result, the AR patterned .308 has evolved into several variations, many of which do not share the part interchangeability that you see with the AR-15 platform, causing potential headaches when selecting parts for your AR-10. The Griffin Armament Suppressor Normalized Ambidextrous Charging Handle was designed to work in conjunction with the two main .308 AR based platforms: the Armalite AR10 pattern and the Knight's Armament SR25 pattern. Since DPMS based their LR-308 series on the SR25 pattern the SNACH is compatible with that line of rifles as well. Unfortunately, due to the wide variances and tolerances on other platforms, Griffin Armament does not guarantee that the SNACH will operate correctly in any other .308 AR pattern besides that of the Armalite AR10 pattern and the Knight's Armament SR25 pattern. The Griffin Armament SNACH is not compatible with SIG716, Colt LE901, HK 7.62 models, or the DPMS Gen2 rifles.
