JP Rifles Adjustable Stainless Steel .750 Inch Gas Block For AR15 Style Rifles - Clamp On

This low profile, rail-free design allows installation under handguards. JP Rifles Adjustable Gas Block is an integral part of any recoil management system. Most rifles are over-gassed and the resulting bolt slamming effect is a very significant part of the felt recoil impulse, which impedes sight recovery. JP Rifles found that controlling the bolt velocity made for a much smoother shooting rifle. This easy-to-install gas block allows you to tune your bolt velocity to a particular load and optimize the feel of your rifle. By adjusting the gas port it is possible to tune up or down in case you want to use reduced loads or in the case of some very short-barreled AR-15 versions, which are somewhat ammunition sensitive. You may also shut the system off if you do not want to chase brass or give a hot brass shower to your neighbor on the firing line at the range.

JP Rifles' gas block also gives a very professional looking way to eliminate the front sight on flat top rifles as opposed to cutting off the existing front sight as a makeshift approach to that problem. JP Rifles intent with the rail on top was to allow for quick-detach front sight, but this also allows for use of flashlights, lasers or any other accessory item you may have a use for.

Prior to purchase, please note the dimensions (below) to ensure that the gas block will be compatible with other components in your rifle system. On rare occasions, you may encounter difficulties with fitting a low-profile gas block under a non-JP hand guard, and we can only guarantee compatibility amongst JP Rifles' components. We have the opportunity to test many of the products on the market, but have no notice and even less control over any design, dimensional or tolerance changes made by other manufacturers. It is therefore difficult for us to comment via phone or email as to the compatibility JP Rifles' components with those of other manufacturers. In the end, ensuring the compatibility of parts rests with you, and some quick measurements prior to purchase can save a good deal of inconvenience later on.

The JPGS-5 model is JP Rifles' minimized small bore design intended to mount underneath many hand guard models on the market. This model also now includes the new and improved locking adjustment feature, which consists of an integral brass set screw that can be tensioned against the adjustment screw after it has been set to prevent any migration that might occur.

An adjustable gas block is merely one piece of the Recoil Mitigation Package, designed to reduce and/or eliminate recoil, and is comprised of the following components:
- An adjustable gas block and/or an adjustable gas key
- A low mass bolt carrier group
- A tuned buffer spring
- A lightweight buffer

AWESOME ADDITION TO ANY GUN

I HAVE BEEN CONSIDERING REBUILDING MY UPPER WITH SOME OF THE NEW LATEST AND GREATEST GEAR OUT THERE AND THIS JP GAS BLOCK NOT ONLY LOOKS LIKE A QUALITY PIECE OF EQUIPMENT BUT IT FUNTIONS BETTER THEN IT LOOKS AND IT LOOKS FANTASTIC WITH ITS SATIN FINISH, I AM SURE THE BLACK FINISHED ONE IS EQUALLY AS IMPRESSIVE I JUST THOUGHT THE SATIN FINSIH WOULD GO WELL WITH MY NEW SS FLUTED BARREL. WHICH IT DOES VERY NICELY AND THIS GAS BLOCK WAS SUPER EASY TO TUNE AND DIAL IN MY RIFLE AND ALL THE NECESSARY TOOLS ARE INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE.. ONE AGAIN JP HAS PUT OUT A VERY NICE PRODUCT

Great gas block

Considering there are very few side-adjustable gas blocks out there, having one available that carries with it the quality of this unit is extremely nice to have. Easily adjusts through both M-LOK and Keymod handguards and I had no issue fitting it underneath a KMR handguard that has a 1.3" internal diameter. I actually left it on the shop counter for a week just so I could stare at it and admire its beauty. You really can't go wrong with JP!

Jp gas block

Works great, fits great, easy to adjust, you have to make sure it will work with your hand guard two things 1 that you can adjust it when it's under your hand guard and 2 will it fit under your hand guard, same as principle as installing any adjustable gas block
