The XMR is ergonomically designed and contoured for superior grip and enables you to more rapidly and instinctively change mags without disrupting your grip, position, or focus. It is CNC machined from 6061 billet aluminum and installation is a breeze.

Extended Magazine Release

I purchased this release in addition to the AR 15 modification to comply with California law. This item not only looks good and accents the gun, but makes the function of releasing the mag quicker in my opinion. It's modestly priced and I would definitely recommend it.

I have this paired with a Master Of Arms Volkscatch Ambidextrous Magazine Release.The only thing that would improve this is if it came in OD Green.

Extended mag release

Ordered this piece to help assist mag release a little easier. Works great! Love the extra real-estate with this piece. Does not interfere with my anti-roll pins at all. Build quality is good, screws come pre lubed with locktite. Use for maybe 20 mags so far, ejects perfectly and finish is holding up strong!

Mag release

Ordered the fde Odin works mag release. The part is very solid and works with anti rotation pins. Quality made item , would recommend. And shipping was fast.

Odin Works XMR Extended mag Release for Ar15 review

Have only had this for about 2 weeks, so far works great. When I have my slide fire stock on my AR it is very hard for me to reach the mag release after installing the Extended Mag Release this is not a problem for me. I would say that mag releases are quicker. Overall great product for a very good price.
