Patriot Ordnance Factory 7 Position Anti Tilt Receiver Extension Buffer Tube For AR15 Style 5.56/.223 Rifles

The Patriot Ordnance Factory 7 Position Anti Tilt Receiver Extension Buffer Tube is made from mil-spec 7075 T6 aircraft aluminum and uses carrier cradle extensions to ensure that the carrier is always supported by the buffer tube, even when the bolt is forward. This prevents carrier tilt and premature wear on the buffer tube.

Thusly, the buffer detent button doubles as a lock that stops the buffer tube from rotating and becoming loose under extreme operation conditions. POFs designs also features three (3) extra drain holes for marine environments.

Possible note of confusion (will be updated when we receive another shipment): POF has called this buffer tube a 6 position buffer tube but the picture clearly shows 7 stock detents. We ship our items as we receive them from the manufacturer, so you will get whatever we get - either a 6 position buffer tube or a 7 position buffer tube. It is okay to hope for a 7 position buffer tube but just know you might get a 6 position buffer tube. And who knows, maybe POF does not consider the closed position as a position, and maybe that is why they call it if a 6 position buffer tube.
