Q: Is this lower's classification "other" in its stripped form? I ask because I am in CT where we can only build lowers into "firearms" (not pistols, not rifles), so the lower cannot be legally considered a pistol or rifle at time of shipping. Thanks very much for your input.

Asked by: Thomas McKinney - 9/22/2020
A: This lower's classification is not "other", it's just a stripped lower receiver. Thanks for the inquiry.

Q: What style or type of uppers fit the adm UIC ambi lower??

Asked by: JOEL PELATH - 5/8/2020
A: Answer provided indirectly by American Defense Manufacturing:
Thanks for the question. Our lowers will work with standard mil-spec forged upper receivers, our ADM Upper Receivers and some billet upper receivers. The main reason some billet uppers do not work with our lower is the paddle on our bolt catch is larger than mil-spec, and some uppers are only cut to accept a mil-spec size bolt catch. We have modified a small batch of bolt catches to fit these specific billet uppers if customers requested them.
Thanks for the inquiry.
