SLR Rifleworks Sentry 7 Stainless Adjustable .750 Inch Gas Block - Black

SLR Sentry 7 is a very well made piece of equipment. The fit and finish is exactly as advertised. The adjustments feel very smooth and positive, with a nice crisp "click" as it hits the next adjustment spot. Unfortunately i could not use it on my new build because the 2 bolts on the bottom just barely touch the inside of my handguard (F-1 Firearms H7). I will however be ordering one for my other gun due to its quality.

Got the set screw version and installation was fast and easy. The settings are solid and no chance of losing it unless you move it. It's the most secure and dependable block out there. Reliability is what I look for over looks so it's just a bonus that this looks so good. Fit easily under my BCM KMR with plenty of room for attachment around the block. I run a spikes T1 buffer 3oz with a JP spring and It shoots like a dream. I had the Spikes T2 buffer and converted it to a T1 by popping out the roll pin and removing some of the tungsten powder. Just put it on the digital scale to get the weight.

SLR adjustable gas block works great for metering the gas to cycle rifle's action. Adjustments are positive and tactile and you can easily make corrections between a silenced action and unobstructed action and different types of ammunition.

I bought one of the SLR gas blocks to use with my suprrssed 6.8. It worked like a charm. Being easy to install and adjust with the overall build quality being top notch. I would/will buy another.

This is an exceptionally well made adjustable gas block (I bought two with set screws). Easy to install and the gas adjustment screw is where it should be - on the muzzle end where you can access it without taking the handguard off. My issue with this was I received an older generation version that didn't have the upgraded spring and detent installed. While adjusting the gas at the range after firing a few rounds, I noticed the detent was visible and pushing out against the spring - I had to disassemble it to fix it. I took pictures before I did anything and sent them to SLR explaining what happened. They IMMEDIATELY emailed me back, explained that they had upgraded the spring and the detent and this one hadn't been upgraded. They are sending new parts for both gas blocks. Impressive customer service. Four stars due to receiving gas blocks that hadn't been upgraded but regardless - this is a really nice gas block that is simple to use. I highly recommend this product.
