Using the Taccom 3 stage recoil system for your AR15 provides a noticeable difference in the smoothness and reduction of felt recoil.

Taccom took their 9mm 3 stage recoil system and redesigned it to be used in your 223 AR. Taccom learned that with light weight systems for the gas guns that when you start to shut down the gas to the bolt you make your rifle less reliable. While we all know that most AR’s are over gassed, almost turning off the gas to reduce felt recoil is not something you want to take a chance on in a match. You can run full gas (or reduce it a little) because with this system you do not need to starve the gas system to reduce felt recoil. Let the 2nd stage take care of that for you.

While the 3rd stage helps reduce the shock on the rebound, it also works as an anti bounce feature for those that want to play with the full auto M4 or M16. Basically, you will find that you can run full weight bolt carriers while reducing recoil and get even more benefit with reduced mass carriers. You can even use this system with ultra light aluminum or titanium carriers.

Taccom tested their recoil systems with mil spec recoil springs and 10% reduced springs and did not see any appreciable difference, but you can play around with different recoil springs to get your system dialed in. Compatible with .300 blackout systems.

awsome product

I have this in my ipsc open rifle with a break. It is like shooting a bb-gun, not counting the sound. After this upgrade there is no movent in the rifle when the shot breaks. I bought 2 more after testing this. I highly recommend this product.

Quality Item

I wanted to tame the recoil, from my, severely over-gassed 16-inch Smith & Wesson M&P upper. I went to the range and to my embarrassment I needed help sighting in my Optic. The Range Master who helped me said "Damn, that's smooth" I showed him the buffer and asked his opinion and he said "I've always seen those but I've never used one" What followed was, literally everyone, who worked at that range; asking to try it. All who tried were amazed and asked where they can buy one. However, it had some initial problems with "Last Round Hold Open" I was forced to use the charging handle. It was so smooth and light; it didn't pick up the new round from empty... However, I swapped the milspec spring for a JP Tuned and Polished + 10% Carbine Spring. It fixed the Bolt Release Issue and cycled like Fine-Tuned Machine. I had a carbine length gas system, full mass BCG and I was a celebrity on the range. My only complaint is an easy fix. JP tuned and polished +10% Spring. BUY THIS BUFFER! THIS IS A QUALITY ITEM
