QD Mount for SCAR rifle and bungee sling

Love the sling and the QD mount is great once installed. Biggest problem I had was getting the factory screws out of the SCAR rifle. FN is very generous with their red Loctite, and ended up stripping out one the Allen heads and having to use an extra for to get it out.

Great quality sling and mount!

The sling itself is great quality. It can be adjusted, for length, to whatever is most comfortable for you. You can tell that this is a quality made sling just by looking at it and the feel of it. The Bungee holds firm and takes some force to get it to stretch. The weight of the rifle itself won't even budge the bungee at all. The quick connect and disconnect works great and with ZERO hassle. In the box I got the single point sling with the swivel connector sewn into the sling, the single point QD sling mount, two screws and a tube of "locktite" type of screw adhesive. I attempted to remove the screws on my rifle and they wouldn't budge. A quick internet search showed that holding the tip of a soldering iron directly on the screws would heat the adhesive all ready in place to the point where the screws would come out. This worked for me. Soldering iron tip, directly on the screws for about 4-5 minutes each and the screws came right out using a 2.5mm allen wrench. I've fired around 500 rounds so far and have used the sling every time. I'm a lefty with a rifle and righty with a pistol and installed it accordingly. The metal portion of the sling has not scratched my rifle at all, even with a lot of different manipulations of it. I checked the mounting screws and the supplied adhesive is holding firm. Make sure to save your original screws. Should you choose to remove the sling mount in the future, you will need them because the supplied screws are a little longer than the original ones. Also, follow the soldering iron advice BEFORE you begin so you don't strip those screws out trying to remove them. One more thing, I ordered the kit on a Friday and almost immediately received a shipping notification with tracking number. It arrived the Monday after I ordered it. Very fast shipping to Louisiana and great customer service.

Q: Is this the same as the "Convertible One/Two Point Tactical Link Bungee Sling (SKU: CONVBUNG-DE") sold on FN Specialities except this comes with two QD points for mounting in the rifle?

A: Jerry, the sling included in this kit is the Tactical Link Stealth Bungee Single Point QD Tactical Sling For SCAR Rifles; not the Convertible One/Two Point Tactical Link Bungee Sling. Completely different type of sling. Thanks for the inquiry.
