The V7 Weapon Systems Titanium Magazine Catch / Release mechanism is 100% corrosion resistant and weighs only 7.4 grams (0.26 ounce). The V7 Weapon Systems Titanium Magazine Catch / Release mechanism includes a spring and a titanium magazine release button available in your choice of patterns - lines or diamond. Awesome light weight Mag Catch !!!

Great for Lightweight Build

If you are going the titanium route for a lightweight AR-15 build, while pricey, this is an excellent option for the mag catch/release. The finish matches up nicely with other black ion bond lower parts.

Many benefits.

It's aesthetically more pleasing than a standard mag catch. It's titanium so it's lighter and has higher corrosion resistance than a steel part. V7 does it right when they craft their parts. TAC LIKK is always my go to when looking for upgrades and new build parts, Just wish they would sell roll pins!

Good but not perfect

Excellent quality piece, but the release button is a bit larger than spec release buttons, and was too large to fit the Mag Tactical lower I purchased it for. I swapped the button with one from a Spikes tactical, but the mag catch fit and is well made and functions perfectly.

Magazine catch release - V7 Ti Although I received the silver unfinished mag catch release instead of the black one, the product overall is pretty solid. Installation was a breeze and the look and finish (despite not being black) is quality. I wanted to go all Ti for the overall feel of the rifle, so I cannot comment on the difference in weight with Ti compared to other "mil-spec" mag catches, so YMMV. Anyway, I am happy with the product thus far and am anticipating writing a great review for customer service to exchange the silver to black. AP
