The V7 Weapon Systems Titanium Magazine Catch / Release assembly is precision machined from grade 5 titanium and is 100% corrosion resistant. The V7 Weapon Systems Titanium Magazine Catch / Release mechanism weighs only 7.4 grams (0.26 ounce) and includes a spring and a titanium magazine release button available in your choice of patterns - lines or diamond. Compatible in both 556 and 308 (DPMS/SR25) platform builds.

V7 Weapon Systems recently added a groove (seen in the picture(s) above) and represents the current model; some of the pictures taken prior to this change may not reflect this recent update. V7 Weapon Systems offers a lifetime warranty.

Purchased another(4 total)titanium diamond button mag release for a current build.V7 produces top quality products and with T.L. stocking the items I need,it's a no brainer.You get what you pay for.

Functional AND Good Looking

Honestly, I wanted more shine but I couldn't find polished titanium Mag Releases anywhere. So, I picked up the V7 Raw Titanium mag release and broke out the lapping paste and dremel. I just polished the high points and the sides of the button. The low points on the button's diamond pattern and the indent on the catch really provided some nice contrast. Installation was a breeze -- exactly like the standard catch and enhanced button I've been using for years.

Easy to install ~ Functions great ~ Added looks!

Once the old mag release was disassembled, it took me less than 10 minutes to install this on my mil-spec lower. I ordered the diamond pattern raw titanium finish which goes great with my silver & black color scheme for my AR15. Performance is as expected, with no issues so far after 400 rounds. Magazines lock and release with no hang ups every time. I highly recommend this product!

Very nice

I bought the button with lines on it. Very nice quality, easy install and good fit. Adds a great touch to my black and silver theme build. Shipping time wasn't too bad either.
