Do you have either an Alpha hand guard or a Gunfighter KMR hand guard from Bravo Company? Looking to shave ounces and reduce weight everywhere you can? Replace your heavier steel barrel nut with the V7 Weapon Systems Titanium Barrel Nut.

This barrel nut is manufactured from grade 5 titanium for Bravo Company’s Alpha Keymod hand guard as well as their famed KMR hand guard. Machined to Bravo Company's KMR Barrel Nut print to be a drop in item for your BCM Gunfighter KMR or their newer Alpha Rail. Weighs 0.9 oz / 26 grams and is available in black ion bond or raw titanium. Lifetime warranty from the manufacturer.

V7 Titanium Barrel Nut

Used this for a high end AR build with a Bootleg PicMod rail on a BAD matched receiver set and it made it so much easier to slip the rail on; no need to heat the rail up like suggested with this slicker barrelnut, plus, it's a lot lighter in weight. As always, TL shipped fast and had the best price!

V7 Barrel KMR barrel nut

What an amazing piece. I installed this on my Bootleg upper/Handguard and it was a perfect fit. The finish on the barrel but made the handguard installation smooth and easy compared to the standard BCM barrel nut and is rock solid.

Perfection

Paired this with the Titanium clamps from V7 to keep the weight down. The barrel nut is perfection, the quality is what I always get from V7 top notch. It's a drop in part worth every penny IMO. As another review stated the only downside is that you really can't see it once the rail goes on but knowing it's under there with its lightweight/ corrosion resistant self makes me happy. Tac Link is the best place to buy from.

This product arrived and I have to admit it is just awesome. The actual weight of this item was 26.1 grams. I weighed the actual BCM barrel nut included with my KMR rail and it weighed 45 grams. So if your looking for weight savings, this is definitely worth it... grams add up. After all what else can I say.... It's Titanium and it looks great. The only CON about it, is that it's hidden in the rail and can't be seen. V7 Quality is fantastic.

Q: does this come for a ar10 upper i have a 6.5 creedmore barrel

A: William, the response below is directly from the manufacturer:
"We only manufacture the ar15 kms & alpha barrel nut. It works with both the kms & alpha rails. To our knowledge, BCM does not make an ar10 or 308 version of either of those rails. You will need to contact BCM. To answer that on the barrel nut, no. We only produce the ar15 size. Hope that helps!"
