Both pieces of the V7 Weapon Systems Ultra Light Port Door & Port Door Straight Rod Combo Kit #2 are manufactured from 7075 T6 aluminum for strength, rigidity and weight reduction. The Ultra Light Port Door and Rod Kit offer a modern upgrade in both design and appearance to the heavier mil-spec port door and rod.

Both the port door and rod are hard coat anodized, making them corrosion resistant and a fraction of the weight of their mil-standard counterparts. May not be compatible with 2A Armament's upper receiver(s) without modification. Both pieces of V7 Weapon Systems Ultra Light Port Door & Port Door Straight Rod Combo Kit #2 are black; other colors may be available for purchase separately. The port door spring may be black in color or raw stainless depending upon what V7 supplies us.

V Seven Port Door

Installed this port door on my 2A Armament Balios upper. Hands down, this is the cleanest looking port door on the market. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who is tired of the old Milspec look.

Best looking port door out there!

When building my AR I spent a lot if time picking the best parts I could find. Well, the port door I originally installed was just one piece in an upper kit. While the original door fit and functioned perfectly it was horrendous to look at. I know the door will get marked up with use, but i felt it took away from the rest of the rifle. So I went looking and found the V7 port door. When I got it installed it looked amazing and it was a bit lighter overall. This might not be a vital piece of the AR but it really gives it a clean look.

First of all, Tactical Link is great to work with. As a small business owner I have several vendors that I use. However, when I'm looking for particular parts, wouldn't you know it, those vendors are usually always out of stock. That's when I call Tactical Link. Now on to the V7 Ultra-Light Port Door. You wouldn't really think that a port door could make a difference. It does if you are looking for a custom look and a product so lite that it feels like holding a sheet of paper. I really like the fact that I can customize the port door with an insignia etc. without the typical "machined lump" in the middle of spec. port doors. Bottom line, yes it's expensive but if you are looking for light weight with many customization possibilities with Cerakote etc. look no further.
