titanium comp

this was one of the items for my light weight build. This is one of those "required" items for building one, as it affects the balance greatly. On mine With a pencil barrel this balances the build so well that it seems much lighter than its 5.75 lbs. very happy with it. good looking and really light. kinda loud, but aren't all comps???

Q: If the overall length of this compensator is 1.6” long, how can you install it on a 14.5” barrel and get 16”? It should only add 1.00” to the length of the barrel when install. Am I missing something?

A: 14.5 + 1.6 = 16.1

Q: It appears that their is a drilled hole at the base so it can be pinned. Is this correct, and if so does it come with the pin? If it doesn't, what size is the pin hole? I'm in Commifornia and need to pin and weld it to the barrel to make it legal. Thank you.

A: It is our presumption that the hold is there to be useful when pinning to a barrel. We've not seen a pin included from SLR. For answers relating to optimal pin size and/or material we suggest that you may be better served asking the manufacturer directly. Thanks for the inquiry.
